Winning Losers Phenomenon

I just recently found out about this song, which came out not too long ago. it has spread far and wide and sure made her famous, and its not hard to understand why.

The thing about this song is that it is so exceedingly bad that it actually becomes amusing... and to some extent even entertaining.

The video is lame and low quality. Her singing is atrocious, sounding like a duck being strangled. And the worst of all is the lyrics; which either:

doesnt make sense

I got this, you got this

My friend is by my right

I got this, you got this

Now you know it

has no link

Gotta make my mind up

Which seat can I take?

It’s Friday, Friday.....

is totally unnecessary

Yesterday was Thursday

Today it-is Friday

Tomorrow is Saturday

And Sunday comes after...wards

or is just plain dumb!

Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal (lol)

We-we-we so excited

We so excited

We gonna have a ball today

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)

Fun, fun, fun, fun

Lookin’ forward to the weekend

So after watching the video just once for the first time and listening to the lyrics, i felt half my brain cells were wanting to die right there. The only thing i could say was, "oh my gosh... this is just sooo bad!..."

As one comment on the video goes, "no words are enough to describe how bad this song is..." But the next thing i did was - watch it again! as if it didnt kill enough brain cells...

Sure, she has a like:dislike ratio of 1:9 and has endless hate comments spammed on her video, but in the end she has the last laugh earning big bucks because people all over the world are flocking in to get a taste of the dumbest song ever.

Looks like we are entering a new generation for the music and videos industry. Young wannabes making it big by being so bad at it that they become famous. There was Justin Bieber, and now heres Rebecca Black, perhaps following his footsteps, and surpassing him many times over. And i shouldnt be hating them at all - these people actually make the world a better place! they provide much entertainment value, and great inspiration for parodies on their songs. Just like how Bieber's Baby inspired Banelings...

Unfortunately we wont expect much covers to be made on this song. It is too horrible to be saved. Never mind if the singing is bad, someone else with better singing could do a cover. But now the lyrics are bad, so even the best singer singing it would sound like an idiot. The only way to make a better version is to do a parody.... and im sure there will be many more to come!
