Back to Monotony

Thus ends my 12 days of escape from the monotony of NS life, spent on a fabulous Mission Melaka trip and the JYM camp. I had awaited and anticipated it for many months before, and had loads of preaprations put into it, and now after what seemed like only a few days, its all over now. Why does time fly so fast when we are having fun? wish it could be the other way dont we...

This time had been such a blessed relief from the freedom-and-excitement-lacking NS life ive led the past whole year, and it sure is good to have a life temporarily back, with time spent meaningfully the whole 12 days. a large factor of it is due to always having a spiritual atmosphere, allowing much opportunity to experience God, as well as spending ample time together with my family in Christ.

Of course im glad i dont have to hang my head and brace for a whole long stretch of life drought just yet - there is still of course the festive season of Christmas! its still a time to loosen up and look forward to ... but after the new year comes, i shall prepare myself to quietly slip into limbo again.

As for now, its time to get a good rest. a good 6 hour nap sure well made up for the severe lack of sleep over the past few days. I was so tired i could ridiculously oversleep for 4 hours after my alarm rang, only to wake up at 10.30pm and realising i havent had my dinner or unpacked my bags. =.="
Thank God for stay-out before duty.
